Abstract

Ultrasonic velocity studies of amino acids, peptides and proteins in aqueous medium, aqueous urea solutions, mixed aqueous solutions and organic solvents have been carried out by a number of researchers for investigating the solute-solute, solute-solvent and solvent-solvent intermolecular / interionic interactions. However, few authors have studied the behaviour of amino acids and peptides in aqueous electrolyte solutions.
