Abstract

India's agriculture sector has occupied nearly 43% of the country's land area. Agriculture is animportant part of the Indian economy because it accommodatesmore than 60% of the Indian population and makes up around 17% of the GDP. Agricultural marketing plays a crucial role in quickeningthe production and consumption process of the product, and raising the pace of economic development.
