EFFECT OF CIRCUIT TRAINING PROGRAM ON STRENGTH AND ENDURANCE OF WOMEN FOOTBALL PLAYERS

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of circuit training on Strength and Endurance of women football players. A sample of female age group below 25 years was randomly selected and given the treatment of circuit training. For assessing the effect of circuit training on Strength and Endurance of woman football players, the training was given for 6 week. The data of pre test and pos test were obtained through the AAHPER Youth Fitness test battery, and statistically analysed. Significant difference was found on Strength and Endurance of women players. It is concluded that there was significance improvement in the Strength and Endurance of women football players. This study shows that circuit training is very effective in improving strength and endurance components.
