Abstract

Nothing is static in the world of banking and business. The most significant shift is in the scope of banking activity. Deposits from clients are accepted, surplus money is loaned to customers who need it, and monies are transferred in their conventional form by banks. For example, banks now provide financial and non-financial services to a wide range of clients, from small individual clients to large corporations and in some cases even non-customers. The variety of products and services offered by a bank is mostly dictated by its size and kind. Technology has played a key role in the progress of mankind. An important technological achievement in the field of information and communication technology (ICT) is electronic access, processing, storage, and dissemination of information. With the rise of ATMs, on-line banking and mobile banking in recent years, the use of plastic cards has grown exponentially. This expansion has been aided by technological advancements, without which it would not have been feasible, and it will undoubtedly transform our way of life in the next years.
