Abstract

In Indian context not much researches has been done in analyzing the performance measurement of Women Sales Associates, especially in Textile industry. In India, women workers, from the first stage of selection to the stage of retirement, are not treated equally to a male worker, especially in sales department. Even their performance is not been measured in a systematic manner and performance based compensation is not followed. Due to this behavior of the industry, many women sales associates are dissatisfied in their job which leads to increase in stress and imbalanced work life conditions. To give a basic solution to the above discussed problem, this study has been conducted using behavioral approach. As a result thirteen performance indicators and corresponding performance metrics are identified.
