The present investigation includes biochemical responses such as total protein, glucose, cholesterol, urea, levels after 15, 30 and 45 days of post-treatment. The biochemical parameters such as serum total protein, glucose and cholesterol values were decrease in all the intervals. The urea level increase significantly after the dose of treatment in all the cases. Biochemical values of the treated prawn Macrobrachium lamarrei are suggestive of anemia and hepatic damage.
