Abstract

Artificial Intelligence is the advancement of computer systems competent to do tasks usually requiring human intelligence. Natural Language Processing is the part of Artificial Intelligence which can help to convert the human language to machine language. This becomes possible for the machine to understand the language of humans. In this paper, we discuss how the machine can evaluate the answer submitted by the user and generate the score based on the criteria such as grammar, spelling, similarity etc.We provide the solution to evaluate the subjective answer immediately after the answer is submitted. We used the Latent Semantic Analysis and Cosine Similarity to compare the similarity between the answer provided by the user with the answer already stored in the database. We have used NLTK techniques for various operations such as grammar and spelling correction. The scores generated after the end of each task can be used to generate the weighted score of the answer data submitted by the user which can be considered as the final score of the user.
