This research explores a study on the Impact of stress on academic performance of science and commerce school going student’s basis on their gender. Subject and methods: for this purpose, researcher was used simple random sampling technique for data collection. Five points Likert-scale was used for data collection along with socio-demographic variables. The data were collected from 120 (60 male and 60 female) students of Science and Commerce disciplines in Raipur District and t-tests to find out the difference among the sub-samples. 95% respondents are responding about the factor of stress impact on their academic performance. Results: The findings reveal that Science students had more stress in comparison to Commerce students. There were not found significant gender was not playing any significant role on stress on academic performance of Science and Commerce student’s Conclusions: This study concludes that science students were more stressed and anxious as compared to Commerce students.
